The BC Association of Pregnancy Outreach Programs was registered as a non-profit society in 1996. The Association is governed by a constitution and by-laws and by an elected volunteer Board of Directors representing all regions of the province.
Our Purpose:
- to promote public awareness of the philosophy and services of Pregnancy Outreach Programs
- to develop collaboration, information sharing, education, skill enhancement and common standards among Pregnancy Outreach Programs in BC
- To partner with local, regional, provincial and federal initiatives, health programs, and organizations to promote research, knowledge transfer, program/resource development and service delivery in the area of maternal and family health

Our Members
- Over 50 member programs in 120 B.C. communities including on reserve aboriginal communities. To locate a program in your community click on the "Programs Section"
- Provide safe, non-judgmental, quality perinatal services
- Reach out to women who do not access typical prenatal information and services
Our Work to support members:
- Networking and mentorship to share skills, expertise, information and resources
- Provision of annual education conference
- Resources development
- Representation of programs at regional, provincial and federal tables
