For expectant Mom and her partner. We work with you from conception to age 35 months. Aboriginal Headstart is our partner we hold sessions in their facility. We have guest speakers from infant developement to baby massage. A diabetic nurse, community health nurse,prenatal/postnatal breastfeeding outreach worker and doula support are available at all sessions. We help you get resources for delivering off Haida Gwaii as well. Confidentiality is a priority.

Program Description:
'New Beginnings' Pregnancy Outreach Program provides support and programming for pregnant moms, dads and babies to 6 months of age. We provide drop-in Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ 2041 Atlin Avenue and outreach to the community Tuesday and Thursday.
We provide pre and postnatal health, labour and delivery information, benefits of breastfeeding, infant development and growth, nutrition for the expectant mom and her baby and exisiting community resources.
Outside agencies such as Infant Development Program, Supported Child Development, Public Health Nurses, Fraser Street Literacy etc. visit the program on a regular basis to give parents information.
Bus tickets are available for those who do not have transportation.
