About the session
This workshop will provide perinatal service providers an opportunity to explore and understand intersections between weight stigma and other forms of oppression. We will identify our own internalized beliefs about body size and how that impacts the work we do in with perinatal people. Together we will discuss a range of ways that perinatal service providers can contribute positively to ending weight stigma, from simple everyday actions to larger, social justice initiatives.
Note: this session will be recorded and all paid registrants will receive access to the recording for a limited time following the session.
