BCAPOP invites abstract submissions for its 28th Annual Perinatal Conference in Richmond, BC April 26th to 28th, 2027. This year’s conference will explore a variety of perinatal and infant development/early years themes to support and promote the best outcomes for pregnant, postpartum and early parenting people and their children. We encourage submissions that include clinical, research, policy, and lived experience perspectives. We aim to bring together diverse voices and viewpoints, and we encourage submissions from the following presenters:

• Physicians, psychiatrists, midwives, nurses & pharmacists
• Indigenous health teams
• Allied health professionals (social workers, psychologists, counsellors, registered dieticians, speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, audiologists & occupational therapists)
• Researchers & policy makers
• Pregnancy & community outreach workers
• Doulas and birthworkers
• People with lived and living experience related to the perinatal period, including peer support workers

Submissions are due by Friday, July 31, 2026. This call is for unpaid presenting opportunities and BCAPOP may keep your application on file for future speaking events. Selected conference speakers will be offered a 50% off discounted conference registration fee to attend all conference events. Call for SPeakers for BCAPOP's Community of Practice

Please complete this form if you are interested in presenting for a BCAPOP online Community of Practice (90 minutes on Zoom). Currently, we're looking for sessions suitable for an audience of perinatal professionals and helping peers who support perinatal people.
