BCAPOP is a registered charity with over 70 Program Members and over 550 perinatal professionals and peers, each unique in their own approach, services, and populations served. BCAPOP is widely recognized for its support, advocacy, and leadership to improve outcomes for pregnant, postpartum, and newly parenting people and their infants. BCAPOP achieves this by distributing prenatal vitamins & resources to non-profit perinatal programs in BC, providing training, resources and events for helping professionals & peers, and responding to gaps in services with provincial programs such as the Healthy Care Pregnancy Program and The Pregnancy HUB. |
Walking Together: Stories of Strength BCAPOP, alongside its Provincial Perinatal Substance Use (PSU) Peer Network members, is proud to launch the Walking Together: Stories of Strength awareness campaign to demonstrate to organizations, professionals and helping peers the importance and impact of sharing lived experience while maintaining speaker privacy and anonymity. |

PERINATAL SUBSTANCE USE 101 TRAININGBCAPOP’s most sought-after training is offered throughout the year to helping professionals and peers across the country to provide the knowledge and know how to support pregnant, postpartum and newly parenting people who use substances.
